Mushroom Puff
Puff Pastry Triangles with mushroom filling is an easy appetizer which will be different from the usual potato or vegetable stuffing. For those who like mushrooms, this is the perfect appetizer.

Ingredients:
- Onions – 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
- Tomatoes – 1/3 cup (finely chopped)
- Green chilly – 1 (finely chopped)
- Mushrooms – 150g (chopped to small cubes)
- Red Chilly Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1/4 tsp
- Cumin powder – 1/4 tsp
- Garam masala – 1/4 tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp (chopped)
- Oil / Butter – 1 tbsp
- Garlic – 3 cloves (grated)
- Puff Pastry Sheet – 1 (I have used pepperidge farm puff pastry sheet. 2 sheets will be there)
- All Purpose flour – for dusting
- Baking sheet / Aluminium foil – sprayed with oil
Method of Preparation:
- Thaw the puff pastry sheet for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Heat oil/butter in a pan and add the green chillies followed by the onions.
- Add little salt and fry till they become translucesnt.
- Now add the grated garlic and fry for 2 minutes.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and fry for 2 minutes.
- Now add all the powders and combine well.
- Fry till the tomatoes start to leave water and then add the cut mushrooms.
- Cover it with a lid and cook for 10 minutes in medium flame.
- Remove the lid and cook until the water gets evaporated.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Now the stuffing is ready.
- Roll the puff pastry sheet little more thin like how we roll for chappati using maida or all purpose flour.
- Cut them to 9 big pieces or 12 small pieces.
- Keep around 1 1/2 tsp of stuffing inside each piece.
- Touch water with your index finger and apply on the four sides.
- Fold them to rectangles or triangles and stick them.
- Preheat the oven to 400F and bake the puffs by keeping them in a baking sheet for 20 minutes.
- Serve them with tomato ketchup.
