Chicken Puff & YUMMY BLOG award
If you are from India, you are all too familiar with the street corner bakeries and the delicious aroma that will float around that area. One of my favorite items from such bakeries is the Puff. It would be available as veg Puff , Chicken Puff or Mutton Puff. I recently made some Chicken Puff at home and everyone loved it.This is such a great appetizer that can be made easily and quickly for guests, if you had some pastry sheets in your freezer.
Ingredients:
- Pastry sheet: 1 Pack
- Egg White : 2 tbsp
Stuffing:
- Chicken : 1 cup (Boiled and minced )
- Onion : 1 ( medium & chopped)
- Ginger & Garlic paste : 1 tbsp
- Red Chili Powder : 2 tbsp
- Garam masala : 1 tbsp
- Tomato : 1 (chopped)
- salt : required for taste
Method Of Preparation: Stuffing Preparation :
- Boil the chicken in a 2 cup salted water cook till the chicken becomes soft and tender.
- Now drain the water and mince it.
- Heat oil in a pan add the onions and saute till becomes soft and translucent.
- Add ginger & garlic paste and fry them until the raw smell goes off.
- Now add the minced chicken mix it well all together
- Then add the masalas (garam masala and red chili powder ) in to it and mix it all together for 4 minutes.
- Finally add the chopped tomatoes and fry them till it becomes dry.
