Sugar Cookies
Sugar cookies are the easiest to make and will be light to eat. I made these cookies for thanksgiving and everyone liked these cookies. If we have different shapes of cookie moldings, we can make these cookies in different shapes.
Time of Preparation : 40 minutes

Ingredients:
- Butter (Room temperature) – 1 Cup
- White sugar – 1 1/2 cup
- Egg – 1
- Vanilla Extract – 2 tsp
- All purpose flour – 2 3/4 cup
- Baking soda – 1 tsp
- Baking powder – 1/2 tsp
Method of Preparation:
- In a bowl, mix the all purpose flour, baking soda and baking powder and keep it aside.
- In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract and beat until smooth.
- Add the flour mixture little by little and beat to make a smooth dough.
- Grease the baking tray or place a parchment paper on the baking tray.
- Take a spoonful of the dough and place on the parchment paper with 2 inches apart.
- Preheat the oven to 375 F and bake the cookies for 10 to 12 minutes or until the edges become golden brown.
- In 5 minutes, remove them and keep them in a wire rack.
- After 40 minutes store them in an airtight container.
Sugar cookies looks delicious, nice one to make during Christmas.
