Sizzling Summer Contest
It is summer and it’s hot. SpicyTasty is here by announcing an interesting contest for you.
We welcome you all to participate in our Sizzling Summer Contest. Share your recipes with us and win exciting prizes for the best food photograph and the best recipe. The name of the contest itself tells you that this contest is to join hands with SpicyTasty and beat the heat by sharing your fine recipes.
Make sure you capture the beauty and presentation of your recipe in a lively picture and be the one to win $50 for the Sizzling Photograph of the Event. Also share your wonderful recipe and be the one to win $50 for the Sizzling Recipe of the Event. Sizzling Photograph of the event will be decided by you via a poll. Sizzling Recipe of the Event will be picked by a random draw.
When we thought of announcing a contest, all we could think of is Summer. And that is how, the “Sizzling Summer Contest” is before you.
Sizzling Summer Recipe Contest :
Pick and blog your recipe from any of the following categories
- Grilled food recipes
- Salad recipes
- Summer drink recipes – Smoothies, Milk Shakes, Punch, Mocktails or Cocktails.
- Summer themed desserts
Sizzling Summer Recipe Contest Rules:
- You can enter in up to a maximum of 2 categories.
- You should add the contest banner and link it to this contest post.
- Sizzling Recipe of the Event will be picked by drawing a random number.
- Winner will be given a choice of $50 Amazon gift card or $50 by Paypal (If for some reason you cannot receive or use these options unfortunately we have to pick another winner)
- Contest ends on July 6, 2010 midnight Eastern Standard Time. Winner will be announced on July 16 2010.
If you have a blog/website:
- The recipe that you are submitting has to be the one that is published after the announcement of this contest.
- The recipe has to have a picture along with it.
- When you post the recipe(s) in your website/blog, please mention the event and the logo (you can copy the picture from here and resize it) along with a link back to this contest post.
- After publishing your recipe, use the Contest Entry Form to enter your recipe information. Upload a photo with width not exceeding 550px through the form.
- You can optionally upload your picture too. If you would like it to be published with your recipe.
- And also leave your comment in the contest post, mentioning your entry so we can cross check we received your submission.
If you don’t have a blog/website:
- You can still participate in the contest. Just use the Contest Entry Form to enter your recipe information. Upload a photo with width not exceeding 550px and size not exceeding 2MB through the form.
- You can optionally upload your picture too. If you would like it to be published with your recipe.
- And also leave your comment in the contest post, mentioning your entry so we can cross check we received your submission.
Sizzling Picture Contest Rules:
- We’ll collect the pictures from your recipe entries.
- We (Shriya, Nithu and Arthi) will pick the top 10 of our favorite pictures and publish it here. And you get to vote for a picture you like.
- The poll will be open for 7 days and the picture with the most votes at the end of voting period will be chosen as the winner.
- Winner will be given a choice of $50 Amazon gift card or $50 by Paypal. (If for some reason you cannot receive or use these options unfortunately we have to pick another winner).
- Contest ends on July 6, 2010 midnight Eastern Standard Time.
- Voting for Sizzling picture of the event starts on july 7 and ends on july 13. Winner will be announced on July 16 2010.

Christmas Recipes

Prize is for me… 😀
Sparkling punch recipe.
Take a 3 gallon vessel.
Add 4 bottles(1 litre bottles) of Sparkling water.
Add 4 20 0z Sierra Mist
Add 2 Pitchers of Apple Juice (1 pitcher=0.65 litres)
Mix it well and add ice.
Party with 3 gallons of sparkling punch.

you can send a maximum of 2 entries. Try to pick 2 different categories.. And you can also send oven baked entries too.
