I made this cake for my husband’s birthday party. He loves biliards and he is a good player too. So I wanted to surprise him with this cake. We threw him a surprise birthday party and he was totally surprised and was really excited seeing this cake. This is the first time I tried making fondant cake and it came out pretty good. Vattayappam is a traditional steamed rice cake from Kerala, South India and it is served as a tea time snack. The name is derived from its shape and texture, “Vatta” means round “appam” means cake.
